07:31 pm - water being a conduit for thoughts and energy Sometimes I really love being in the shower, when im not in a rush and dont have anywhere to be for a while. Mixing different body-wash flavors to create my own smell, reading the backs of all o' the soaps and facewashes, looking at all of the ingredients that are in them, tonight ive been putting purple blackberry+bergamot strengthening shampoo on my head, and putting a blue coconut and orchid conditioner on the ends at the same time. It's nice. Being in no rush, cleaning yourself, taking care of yourself, scrubbed clean happy. The cool clean feeling on your skin once youre out of the shower is irreplaceable. It brings along a unique feeling of clarity. I also love slow, controlled, planned movements and thoughts planning out what to do next. structured. 08:38 pm - High Conspiracy flashback! It was a nice Sunday morning when I received a text from my good friend Nicolle to see what I was doing. As usual I wasn't doing much, so we made plans to hang out, possibly go to the gym or the flea market or something of that nature. We went to CVS and pilfered some water pills for us because OH we were supposed to be doing the master cleanse; I bought this huge huge bottle of Poland spring and this crystal light packet and this allure magazine with Scarlett Johansson on the cover. And then we went to her friend Scott's house. Scott had a dog and sisters and pet shrimp and a painting of a dragon in his room. We all got in the car to go to the pet store for more shrimp because his other shrimp died. As we approach this pet store/ aquarium, Scott tells us about Bearcat, which im pretty sure Nicolle knew about as well; and Im thinking to myself that this is too ridiculous to be true; and what is this and is it HOGCAT?! So I'm bracing myself for this rare and unusual creature, and we get to the aquarium and look around and we get to see all these obscure and wonderful fish and other sea creatures, then we make our way around the pet store to see....the beast who reeked of popcorn ...the....terrifying....disturbing....BEARCAT. But I guess maybe it may have been cute if i saw its face? But mostly I just wanted to see its face for myself because it was very creepy in the computer printout that they had outside of where it was sleeping, showing what it looked like and giving a brief synopsis of this bizarre creature. a little cute i guess; and that was the exact picture in the computer printout. We looked at little puppies and kittens and things of that nature as well. Then, we went back to Scott's house to release the shrimp into his shrimp tank. Afterwords we headed to King Kullen, but then we realized that the person we were going see wasnt there until 5, and it was around 3something when we got there. We ate some sushi for lunch, then we went to guitar center and saw these scenexcore tards that worked there show off on drums, and I saw a kid I used to go to school with that most DEFINITELY didnt remember who I was at first, or so he let on, and then remembered who I was, and then it was awkward. We left, we listened to Aphex Twin, we met up with Scott's friend to smoke some weed in his car, his car that had a small TV on the front console. We blazed, we watched Muse Live HAARP; and it was definitely pretty epic. Then they were supposed to meet up with this kid in the funeral home parking lot, but Scott had to stop at home first, and while he went inside his friend was like 'Did you know Scott's real name is Edward?' and Nicolle is like no its not shut up, and he's like HIS NAME IS REALLY EDWARD HE'S NAMED AFTER HIS FATHER! and I dont even really know Scott that well anyway because this is the first time I met him, but I was sure that this kid was just yanking chains n thangs. So at this point even I was like, you're totally fucking around I dont believe you, so he insists that we ask Scott when he gets back into the car. And I tell him I will. I will ask Scott when he gets back in the car. So on our way to the funeral home, Scott's friend remembers, and asks Scott for me and says "RIGHT YOUR NAME IS EDWARD? YOUR REAL NAME IS EDWARD?" and Scott goes..'Yeah, its Edward, ill show you my license' and he shows it to Nicolle, and it doesnt say Edward on it at all, and then shows it to his friend and his friend is like "What?" "yeah but you said your name was edward though" yeah but you just said it said edward though" And of course it was hilarious. Then I talked them into watching Hot Rod on his little TV system that he had. I wouldnt tell them anything about it except that it was epic. After slight deliberation we then agreed to watch it and we went to Blockbuster and used Scott's friend's Blockbuster card and everyone seemingly enjoyed it. Then after Scott's friend wanted to go inside, my childhood friend Jackie Cooke wanted to hang out, and said she'd meet up at my house. So Nicolle put on Scout Niblett (sp?) and we waited in the car for her to come, I went inside to charge my dying cellphone for a second and call Alex from my housephone for a second, and when I came out, Jackie was in the car with them already and so i was like hey! whats up! and then we blazed in the Applebees parking lot and went in for half off appetizers. Then we went back to Scott's for a little to drop him off and hang out; We told stories about Hogcat and really scary urban legends and watched the trailer for The Unborn which of course was terrifying. Then we drove home super scared, and Jackie ended up going home and Nicolle + I were really scared just sitting outside my house in the car talking trying not to think about anything scary cos we wouldnt be able to sleep at the rate we were going but then we got tired and both had to pee so we called it a night and went in and slept. O' what a glorious day! As of this moment, I feel not as on pointe as i'd like\ nauseous and headachey and I just feel all around+ all sorts of out of sorts; In other related news: As I drove to work about 10 minutes late one day and pulled into a random spot, I fumbled with the CD player for a few minutes and then I got out of the car, looked directly to my right, and there was a pack of Virginia slims on the ground RIGHT next to my car, I didnt run them over or anything. Virginia Slims: not my cigarette of choice in any way, but I picked up the pack anyway and realized that it was a completely full, sealed, unopened pack. But I quit cigarettes for New Years. Then I worked for a few hours and went outside in a random OCD/ADD burst and started cleaning the car. Then I went back in and worked a little more til i left. Stay tuned until next time! Hopefully the next episode will in some way include Nicolle + I finding out our sleep numbers ! And watching Schizopolis! 09:49 pm - So yeah..., Moon night (part 1) *and* also titled: "DAY OF THE CREEPS" (part 2) Peter Moon's house for Montauk Night with Adriana and Dan, It was a really good time; There were a bunch of people there, all talking about a lot of cool and interesting things; This one guy George that was there was super intelligent and was talking about timetravel and he likened it to a string and it was kind of reminiscent of how stephen hawking mentioned it in 'a brief history of time'; I'm most definitely hitting it up again, if even alone, because i enjoyed it immensely. Beforehand we got Adj at the trainstation, then we went to the diner and got grilled cheese, and Dan got a burger; We smoked, then found peter moon's house and went inside, following a man who approached the house asking if we were 'Moonies'; We said yes, and went inside, and it was fun; Adriana walked out though due to 'bogus bullshit'...And finally when Dan and I got up to leave, Peter Moon, the man of the hour and the author of many books, actually got up and asked us if we had a good time and if we enjoyed and and I was so excited and told him that I was very excited and will definitely be attending again. Then he asked what happened to our friend, and I told him "Ohh..uh..she's a smoker, and she kinda went outside, she has work early, I dont know where she went actually..heh....heh.." And it was kinda awkward because I wished then that she hadnt walked out...He gave us some booklets and told us we could email him and that he was going to be in Connecticut at a Qigong meeting with his teacher (Synchronistically the same day that Dan was supposed to be visiting Connecticut) I had a really good time though and it fueled a lot of creative conversation for on the way home. Got my hand squeezed harder than it had every been squeezed before by an old (drunk?) man who was telling me that he needed some change to get on the train to Mineola; So I gave him 70 cents, and when I gave him the change he kept inching closer to me asking me if i've ever heard of 'snapdragons' and being like 'theyre like LSD'...So I said no, Ive never heard of them before, and he pulls out this prescription bottle of LIPITOR and is like 'here take 2 of these! youll feel better than you ever felt before!...snapdragons...' and im like 'Oh my Grandma takes that, Lipitor, It's for High Cholesterol' and then he started to act really fucked up and got really close to me and I was like listen man I have to go, and Adriana was in the car with her pizza ready to go, so I was. like 'alright man, thanks a lot!' and go to shake his hand in a 'pleasure doin business with you' sort of manner, and i had two rings on my right hand, and when I went to shake his hand, he squeezed me in this rockhard vice of a grip so insane that i was wincing and trying to take my hand back and he wouldnt let go, and finally I got my hand free from his grasp and got into the car. Then we met up with Andrew and Lindsay and were going to go smoke a bowl in the sunshine on a rock with a magnifying glass to light it, because Andrew said it got him so much higher, using the power of the sun; but the sun kept hiding behind clouds so we went down to a beach and talked about life and spirits and philosophies and esoteric things of the sort. Then we went to the thrift store and it smelled different than it ever has and we were stoned and it was very warm and this man in a leather jacket by the bus stop walked right over to our car once we got in and goes up to the driver's side where Adriana was and starts telling her that his car broke down and he needs a ride and needs to get somewhere and all this other sketchy shit, so Adriana's like 'Uh..I dont know man...No' so Im like 'Yo just drive. Go somewhere else.' and we left...THEN we go to Blockbuster a little later to go and rent a movie and there are these people acting a fool on the line, running back and forth, but they were older men, acting kinda creepy/sketchy...So Adriana makes small talk with the cashier and tells of this day of creepy men; to which the cashier replies "Yeah watch out for that guy in the leather jacket that hangs out around here, he harasses people and gets in their cars(or TRIES to get in their cars)' So at this point we're well freaked out because that dude had tried to get into Adriana's car already, and it was scary. very scary. Then I made a pretty sparkly glass/plastic glitter egg that would be almost the egg that I would fly around the world in with everyone; my glitter glass egg. I think im gonna glue little pieces of mirror to the outside of this egg soon; it will make it real pretty; there's more glitter inside of it, and a red circular reflector. Adriana was flipping through the radio and put on some rap station and a song came on that was like IM THE BIGGEST NIGGA THAT YOU SEEN THUS FAR WOW.. Adriana: How Archaic of him. Me: Yeah; Thou Art the Biggest Nigga that I seen THUS FAR METHINKS thou art the biggest nigga that I seen THUS FAR! O FAIR VERONA THY BIGGEST NIGGA THAT I SEEN THUS FAR!! MAYHAPS THOU ART A NIGGA THAT I SEEN THUS FAR!! PRAY TELL YOU BE THE NIGGA THAT IVE SEEN THUS FAR?!! and we both peed Serfs of the manor till the soil THUS FAR UPON THE FAIR STEEDS OF THE MOOR THOU STORM THE FORTRESS FORGE THE MOAT THUS FAR!!! Or some other ridiculous shit that I dont even remember We took it so far....thus far....hahahaa I really cant wait to have an apartment. I can decorate it however I want, invite all my friends over; chill, watch movies, hang out; it would be excellent Im gonna go wash my face then go to sleep; maybe ill work on my little sculpey sculpture. 12:29 pm - The happenings of yesterday Last day of March. Gray, bleak, cloudy, and miserably drizzling. Hopefully and languidly filling out a job application for Cockbuster. Adriana took off from work due to illness and I gave her a ring and she cheerily answered the phone. Adriana was with a friend of ours named Andrew and they were on their way to the mall to pick up a pair of her glasses. They assured me that they would be finished promptly with that task, and upon completion they would head over to my house. As promised, a few minutes later Adriana calls me back and I stay on the phone with her, giving her directions on the back roads to my house. They pull up outside in Andrew's doom buggy and I go outside, put my hood up, and get into the car. We're driving and making small talk and I mention to Andrew, who is an avid follower of metaphysical and paranormal happenings, that I happened to call Preston Nichols, of Montauk Project infamy, and that I was referred to this other author, Peter Moon, telling me that I should attend Montauk Night, and upon calling Peter Moon, I was then officially invited to Montauk Night. A night of, what I shall assume to be, storytelling, paranormal experiences, conspiracy theories, quantum physics and all sorts of other mindfuckery. I invited Andrew and his girlfriend, and also Adriana. By this point we had arrived at Adriana's. We said goodbye to Andrew and thanked him and then went inside. As we were leaving to go back to the mall, (where Adriana had to return to once again, because her glasses were crooked and she needed them fixed), she asked her dad if he was familiar with The Montauk Project, and he said that he was, and I showed him the book that I had taken out of the library, and he flipped through it. He told us about Nikola Tesla's office in Shoreham and about how Brookhaven National Lab has all sorts of secret things happening there and that there are alien carcasses and giant frogs that are basically the size of him as a result of people putting chemicals in a nearby pond. Adriana's mother then entered the room and interjected "BROOKHAVEN NATIONAL LAB: THEY HAVE FROGS DAT BARK LIKE DOGS THEAH!!!!" I, at this point, lost my shit and started hysterically laughing, and her mom was like "LISTEN GO AND TAKE MY CAR RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU HIT RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC!" So we left. Earlier in the day when I was walking around, I found a burnt CD that seemed to be in decent condition laying on the side of the road and I picked it up and put it in my bag. I told this to Adriana and we put it in the CD player to check it out, and it played. There were lots of rap songs on it. We smoked a bowl. As we arrived at the mall, Adriana told me of some ridiculousness that had taken place earlier with Andrew. We entered the mall and walked to the Optical store and noticed a woman blocking it off with a table and chair and papers and herself. Apparently, the optometrists were 'ON THE SECOND FLOOR TODAY'?????? WHAT????? I asked Adriana If they had recently randomly built an escalator in the middle of the floor going to the basement of the mall; and she said 'No, this is even better' and I immediately recollected the mysterious and ever elusive 2nd floor of the mall. Adriana then lead me to an elevator with funny art around it, and we took it up and were on the 2nd floor. There was a police precinct up there, a "Cheesecake Factory training" unit, some offices and the glasses place, staring down in awe, and savoring every moment, knowing it would probably not happen again for a long long time. (Side Note: Billy and I once were traipsing the mall and a woman asked us if we wanted to get $15 to take a survey and of course we said yes so she took us into this creepy side door and through a creepy looming hallway and brought us to this busy bustling office with phones ringing and people walking around with papers and they made us watch this video about Unisom and a stand up comedian and had us answer questions that were on this paper; We made up ridiculous shit and had a hilarious jolly good time and made a $15 profit. nice.) Adriana and I walked the perimeter of the upstairs balcony, I threw a penny into this store that was being constructed and if it had fallen heads up will become some lucky construction worker's lucky penny. We took the stairs back down. We were blazed and hungry when we left, and were contemplating going to Cheesecake Factory, but decided it was too expensive. We then ended up settling on Chili's as being a good idea. Upon entering Chili's Adriana noticed that the man who fixed her glasses had left upon them the pungent aroma of men's cologne, and his very own smudged fingerprints. We were seated in a booth by the window and, we perused the menu in search of something that was healthy. As that was our objective in selecting a restaurant. We didnt want to eat shit. We wanted to eat food that was somewhat healthy and affordable. I ordered like fish with vegetables, + water with lemon. Adriana ordered Boneless Buffalo Chicken, some fries, and a water with lemon. We didnt eat that much, and Adriana had just recovered from being sick and probably didnt have that much of an appetite, because as you all know when youre sick, food tastes like shit and your tastebuds are comatose and your nasal passages grovel in disgust at the very smell of foods like red sauce and the like. We split the bill, and then we bounced. We wanted to blazecruise some more, so we did. We took Nicholls rd. to Middle Country and got off to the right, back towards the mall. We approached Centereach and the store "Rugged Boots and Things" seemed to have piqued our interest. We missed the turn to go into the parking lot so we drove around in a circle behind the buildings and came back around and parked. I smoked half of a cigarette outside while Adriana looked around inside. I was looking through the window at the arrangements of men and women's boots and shoes, and the little african wooden statues of cougars, lions and other junglebeasts posing, backs arched, eyes bulging and baring sharp teeth. I softly tapped on the window to alert Adriana of this particular beast that looked so hilarious and she signaled for me to join her in the store. I noticed there was still a good amount of stogage left so I clipped it and put it back in the box and went into the store. It looked and smelled like a funeral home covered in shoes. It smelled like something was and has been rotting and congealing in a dirty old boot. There was a 'Foot machine' that I guess is some astounding ergonomic innovation that tells you exactly what size and type of shoe would fit amazingly on your foot and can only be operated by a shoe salesperson! I was tempted to shove my raptor claw into the machine, but decided not to. This place had shoes that were for, I guess elderly people, and maybe people that worked in an office or at home or something. The woman at the counter was eyeing us suspiciously and singing along to a song on the radio. The song was "FINALLY! IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! RIGHT IN FRONT OF MA FACE AN I JUS CAN NOT HIIIDE IT! FINALLY! ITS HAPPEN TO ME RIGHT IN FRONT OF MA FACE AN I JUS CANT DESCRIBE IT!" So when we walked out I kept singing it in a voice akin to the one in the song and Adriana pissed herself. We walked to the end of the plaza building and got to the laundromat at the end when we realized hungry and voracious looking mexicans were eyeing us like prey. So we turned around and mozied on back to the car. We drove back out of the parking lot and decided to go over to the Centereach Mall across the street. We looked through the windows of ghetto girl shops and decided to go into the 'Centereach Mall'. I had a really fucked up dream de ja vu and had been in that exact situation before in a dream years ago so I kind of paused and blacked out. We went inside the Centereach Mall to find each of the stores advertised on the outer part of the building which you can access from outside. The lighting was scary. The Golden Buffett was on the left, The optometrist office from timewarp 1953 was on the right, there was a 4 way crossroads in the middle of the mall. The right lead to nothing, the left lead to an Italian restaurant/Pizza place, ahead of us to the left was a Planet Fitness where we watched people exercise and do full body pull ups on machines. And most bizarrely of all was across that to the right, a gymnastics 'place' with mats and bars and the like. All with gymnasts twirling, jumping, and swinging from the bars...but even MORE bizarre were the people congregated in the middle of this abandoned ghost town mall just watching them. We walked further down and to the left past Planet Fitness was this Yankee Candle and Cuckoo Clock store. We watched people on the elliptical for a second then left in a state of confusion. Finally we started the journey to drop me off at home, then we went to 711. We were having the most random bizarre volley of psychic brainwaves ever and it was hilarious. IE: I would look at a Banana Laffy Taffy and think "Aww that reminds me of Tiana" Then Adriana picked them up and was like "I want to get these for Tiana" Or, I picked up these bumpy Nerds candies and was holding them and then Adriana had found them on the shelf a few minutes later and was like "OOOH Look at theeeese!" to which I could not even reply, just put my hand up with the Nerds in them. Or how weirdly I found this lone Kingsize pack of Almond Joy and there were no other ones in the whole store...It was good. This dude came in and was browsing the aisle for what we joked about to be condoms when he walked away...And then one of my cousin's friends came in right after and came into the spot condom dude was just in and was like "ANGELA! HEY! WHATS UP! HOW ARE YOU!" then proceeded to tell me she needed to buy a pregnancy test for her friend who was in the car and asked me to buy it because it was for her friend and she was embarrassed to buy it herself. So she gave me money and I bought it and gave it to her, realizing it was just her and the dude that was 'condom shopping' in the car, and then we left. It was weird because I've known this girl my whole life and she's like a little sister to me, so it was slightly weird and a little depressing. We drove back to my house, It was raining, My brother and his friend Darren were fucking around with the cars in the driveway, trying to fix them or move them or something, and I said my fond farewells to Adriana and went inside. ...Until next time dear reader Current Mood: hilarious

01:00 pm I want to travel the world and take beautiful pictures. I want to bring beauty to desolate ugly places. I want to draw, and paint and sing in the shower and take baths with candles and bubbles, and try to make music. I want to be happy. I want to fall asleep in a beautiful meadow with faeries kissing my cheeks. I want to read poems to the person I love before they go to sleep. I want to go all over the world and take pictures of unique and bizarre individuals, and beautiful things. I want to be able to be so mentally and psychologically stimulated, I want to share deep conversations and philosophies. I want to learn new things. Experience new things. Taste new things.
